DESCRIPTION:Introduction and discussion by Prof. Rolf Weder.\\r\\nNiti Bhas
 in's talk will focus on the implications of the Trade and Economic Partner
 ship Agreement (TEPA) between EFTA states and India for mutual market acce
 ss in different industries\, intellectual property rights (IPR)\, and some
  aspects such as environmental and labour market issues. The Indian perspe
 ctive to the agreement will be central to the presentation. In her talk\, 
 Niti Bhasin will also draw on her research on understanding the economic e
 ffects of free trade agreements and present her preliminary conclusions re
 garding the potential effects of TEPA. Opportunities and challenges will b
 e jointly discussed towards the end of the event.\\r\\nThe talk will be fo

 52] is currently a visiting professor at the University of Basel\, support
 ed by the SNF Scientific Exchange program\, and will be collaborating with
  Prof. Rolf Weder and his team at the Center of International Economics a
 nd Business (CIEB). Niti Bhasin is also a professor at the Department of C
 ommerce at the Delhi School of Economics (University of Delhi). She is an 
 author and speaker with a strong background in international business and 
 Indian economy.
