DESCRIPTION:Prof. Atsushi Shibasaki will present his recent research and 
 new book Thought and Behaviour on the Idea of Global Relations – Towards
  a Study into the World full of ‘Encounters with the Unknown’.\\r\\nAt

  Graduate School of Global Media at Komazawa University [https://www.komaz
 awa-u.ac.jp/english/] in Tokyo. From April 2017 to September 2018\, he was
  a Visiting Fellow at the Institute for European Global Studies. In his re
 search\, he is particularly interested in the historical development of in
 ternational cultural relations and politics in modern Japan\, philosophica
 l debates on the creation of global and international consciousness in mod
 ern Japan\, and the theoretical analysis of the historical development of 
 international relations theory.
