SUMMARY:Colloquium Series “Global Aging” with Andrea Muehlebach
DESCRIPTION:Andrea Muehlebach [http://anthropology.utoronto.ca/people/facul
 ty/andrea-muehlebach/] is Assistant Professor at the Department of Anthrop
 ology at the University of Toronto\, Canada. Her  research focuses on the
  interesection of economic\, political\, and  ethical life. Therefore\, sh
 e explores the rise of voluntarism in social  service provisioning in the 
 Northern Italian region of Lombardy\, and  will continue to pursue it in 
 a new project on the European “commons”  movement in Italy\, Germany\,
  and France. \\r\\nDuring the spring  semester 2014\, the Institute for Eu
 ropean Global Studies organizes a  colloquium series on the topic of “Gl
 obal Aging”. During those  interdisciplinary research colloquia\, schola
 rs of the Institute and  other institutions present their research to the
