25th Anniversary of the Institute for European Global Studies
On 1 November 1993, the Europainstitut Basel commenced its operations. In 2018, the Institute for European Global Studies celebrates its 25th anniversary, following the motto "Connecting Europe for 25 year." To celebrate the occasion, we will organize several events and different projects during the upcoming months. In the past years the scholars at the Institute have gradually extended the focus of their work from the connections between Switzerland and Europe to those of Switzerland and Europe to an increasingly globalized world.
