Madeleine Herren-Oesch Participates in Discussion of Global History in Lausanne
On December 5, 2017, Prof. Madeleine Herren-Oesch is invited to participate in a roundtable discussion at the University of Lausanne. The event focuses on Pierre Singaravélou and Sylvain Venayre’s latest monograph „Histoire du Monde au XIXe Siècle“ (Global History in the 19th century). On the panel, Madeleine Herren-Oesch will be speaking with one of the authors, Pierre Singaravélu, and Jérôme David from the University of Geneva. Madeleine Herren-Oesch is a historian and director of the Institute for European Global Studies.
