Directions to the Institute for European Global Studies

By airplane

From EuroAirport, take bus line 50 to the Basel Central Station (Bahnhof SBB). The line runs every 8 minutes and approximately takes 15 minutes from the airport to the Central Station (Bahnhof SBB). From there, continue as described below.

By car

Arriving from Germany (Motorway A2/A3): Take the exit 'Basel-Wettstein'. Merge onto Schwarzwaldstrasse and make a u-turn. After 200m, turn left into Riehenstrasse. The Institute for European Global Studies is about 200m down the road on the left.

Arriving from Switzerland (Motorway A2/A3): Take the exit 'Basel-Bad. Bhf.' and merge onto Schwarzwaldstrasse. After 200m, turn left into Riehenstrasse. The Institute for European Global Studies is about 200m down the road on the left.

By public transport

From Basel's Swiss (Basel Bahnhof SBB) Central Station or the French station Bâle gare SNCF:

Catch tram number 2 to Gewerbeschule. Follow the tram tracks further and turn right into Sandgrubenstrasse. After about 80m, turn left into Riehenstrasse. The Institute for European Global Studies will appear on your right.

From the German station (Basel Badischer Bahnhof):

Upon leaving the train station, turn left onto Schwarzwaldallee, then turn right into Riehenstrasse. Follow Riehenstrasse for about 200m until the Institute for European Global Studies appears to your left.
