Radio SRF4 News Airs Report About the Institute
On November 1, 2018, the radio show «Rendez-vous» on SRF4 News included a report on the 25th anniversary of the Institute for European Global Studies. Besides critics of the Institute, the report, entitled “Braucht es das Europainstitut noch?” (Is the Institute still relevant?), features statements of Prof. Dr. Madeleine Herren-Oesch. The Institute’s director explains in what ways the Institute’s work remains important and why it was significant to shift the research focus towards exploring Switzerland and Europe in their global entanglements.
In fall 2018, the Institute for European Global Studies celebrates its 25th anniversary. Following the motto “Connecting Europe for 25 Years,” the Institute organizes various events and projects.
