Lecture by Prof. Zhou Xiaoxia on Chinese Scholarships
In the first part of her presentation Professor Zhou will introduce three different types of scholarships: The Confucius Institute Scholarship, The Chinese Government Scholarship and The Shanghai Municipal Scholarship. While the Confucius Institute Scholarship is mainly a language scholarship, for the other two scholarships Chinese language proficiency is not a prerequisite.
In the second part Professor Zhou will clarify the details on how to obtain a scholarship and its necessary qualifications. She will also explain the application procedures and the application deadlines. After the presentation, there will be enough time for personal questions, which Professor Zhou will be happy to answer.
