Public Auditions “Selection Assistant Professorships”

The selection committee invites to the auditions of 13 new candidates for two assistant professorships in European Global Studies offered by the Institute for European Global Studies at Basel University. The public auditions take place on April 7 and April 9, 2014.
On the first day of the auditions, the prospective candidates provide lectures on topics like Strategies in International Negotiations, Internet-induced Changes in Global Governance, Challenges and Prospects of Global Studies, the Role of 'Europe' in 'Chinese' Political Thought, Migration Policy, EU Citizenship and Capitalism and its Heterotopies.
Each session is followed by an internal discussion with members of the selection committee and a demonstration lesson with students.
