New Issue of the Newsletter
A new issue of the institute’s newsletter has been published. It opens with an article by Prof. Dr. Madeleine Herren-Oesch. In addition, it includes reports about the Moot Court Final as well as the European Studies section.
In the opening article, Prof. Dr. Madeleine Herren-Oesch calls for a move towards a global europe. Among other issues, she brings up the question what kind of knowledge future generations will need to master the global 21st century. Furthermore, she looks ahead to the challenges and opportunities of the Centre for Advanced European-Global Studies in the coming months and years. In addition, the new issue of the newsletter includes an article by Eveline Gugger Bruckdorfer. She reports about the participation at the regional finale of the European Law Moot Court in Lund, Sweden. Birgit Heumesser introduces herself as the new president of the European Studies section at the University of Basel.
The newsletter is edited in collaboration of the members of the Institute of European Global Studies, its friends (Förderverein) and its Alumni Association.
