Pascale Baeriswyl is a Swiss ambassador and diplomat with extensive experience in international law, multilateral diplomacy, and peace and security. She served as Switzerland's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, represented Switzerland on the UN Security Council, and became the first woman to lead the Swiss diplomatic service as State Secretary of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. From September 2026, she serves as Switzerland's Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
