Ralph Weber gave Lectures at Ashoka University and O.P. Jindal University in India

At the invitation of Prof. Arindam Chakrabarti, Ralph Weber visited Ashoka University, located north of New Delhi. During his visit, he delivered a lecture at the university’s Philosophy Colloquium and gave a guest lecture in a course on Spinoza, focusing on Thomas Hobbes’ anthropology in De Cive and Leviathan. In addition, he engaged in collaboration discussions with Vice Chancellor Prof. Somak Raychaudhury and Dean of Research Prof. Gautam Menon. He also took the opportunity to give a lecture at O.P. Jindal Global University at the invitation of Prof. Sriparna Pathak, the official partner university of the Institute for European Globals Studies.

Ralph Weber is Professor of European Global Studies at the Institute for European Global Studies. He specialises on Political Theory, Chinese Politics and modern Confucianism. Currently, he is the President of the European Association for Chinese Philosophy and the Chair of the Section on Political Theory in the Swiss Political Science Association.
