Ralph Weber at Innosuisse Plenary

What's the place of Swiss innovation in the world? Prof. Dr. Ralph Weber has participated in a panel discussion at the "Innosuisse Plenary" on the topic "Innovation competition of world powers and the consequences for Swiss innovation". The event took place on September 14, 2021, in Luzern.

Ralph Weber spoke about one of the rising world powers of our time, China, detailing the country's aspirations worldwide. Alongside Weber, the panel consisted of Martina Gmür (Switzerland Global Enterprise), André Kudelski (Innosuisse) and Alois Zwinggi (World Economic Forum). It was moderated by Hanna Henkel (NZZ).

The Innosuisse Plenary 2021 was titled "Go international: the perspectives and challenges for Swiss innovation". "Innosuisse - Swiss Innovation Agency" is a federal entity under public law. It aims to promote science-based innovation in Switzerland.

Ralph Weber is Associate Professor of European Global Studies at the Institute for European Global Studies. He specializes in Political Theory, Chinese Politics, and modern Confucianism. Currently, he is the President of the European Association for Chinese Philosophy and the Chair of the Section on Political Theory in the Swiss Political Science Association.
