The Belt and Road Initiative and Human Rights: Ralph Weber at Workshop in Berlin

"The Belt and Road Initiative and the Infrastructure of Our Heads" was the title of a presentation by Prof. Dr. Ralph Weber at a recent workshop. Weber spoke at the symposium "The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and its impact on Human Rights compliance along the 'New Silk Road'" on May 16, 2022, at the Maecenata Foundation in Berlin. The event was organised by the International Political Science Association (IPSA RC 34), the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, the Center on Governance through Human Rights, and the Maecenata Foundations’s MENA Study Centre.

Ralph Weber is Associate Professor of European Global Studies at the Institute for European Global Studies. He specializes in Political Theory, Chinese Politics, and modern Confucianism. Currently, he is the President of the European Association for Chinese Philosophy and the Chair of the Section on Political Theory in the Swiss Political Science Association.
