Colloquium on the Topic "Skype, Busuu & Babbel und bald der Online-Pfleger?"
On May 21, 2014, at 12.30pm, Dr. Jana Gerold will speak about "Skype, Busuu & Babbel und bald der Online-Pfleger?".
Jana Gerold is Lecturer at the Institute for Social Anthropology and Postdoctoral Scientific Collaborator at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. She studied social anthropology, cultural geography and English literature at the University of Freiburg, Germany and obtained her PhD in Medical Anthropology at the University of Basel in December 2012.
During the spring semester 2014, the Institute for European Global Studies organizes the colloquium series on the topic of “Global Aging”. During those interdisciplinary research colloquia, scholars of the Institute and other institutions present their research to the scientific community. The colloquia take place on a Wednesday from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at the seminar room of the institute.
