Graduation Ceremony for the MA Students
On Thursday, September 24, the graduates of the MA European Studies at the Institute for European Global Studies received their diplomas. Prof. Peer Zumbansen (King's College, London) held the keynote speech.
In the "Alte Aula" of the Natural History Museum of Basel, the graduates were first welcomed by Prof. Madeleine Herren-Oesch, director of the Institute. Prof. Peer Zumbansen (King's College, London) then spoke on the topic "No Place for Heroes: Stories of Law and Justice in the Age of Globalisation". The evening finished with a reception in the Museum's lounge. The ceremony was accompanied by music by the "Duo Meltemi".
The diploma ceremony took place on September 24 at 17.15 pm. Venue: Alte Aula, Natural History Museum in the Augustinerstraße 2, Basel.
