Europakolloquium with Ambassador Etsuro Honda

H.E. Ambassador Etsuro Honda

In a talk entitled “My Life with Japanese Capitalism,” Etsuro Honda, Japanese Ambassador to Switzerland, will share some personal experiences in the context of the next Europakolloquium. The event takes place on February 21, 2019, at 6:15pm, at the Institute for European Global Studies.

In his talk, Ambassador Etsuro Honda will talk about his experiences, especially with regards to the current economic and fiscal policy in Japan.

Etsuro Honda is Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Switzerland and Liechtenstein and Ambassador for Economic and Financial Affairs in Europe. His service in Bern was preceded by posts in Moscow and Washington, and by assignments in Japan. Prior to his arrival in Bern in 2016, Ambassador Etsuro Honda held the position of a Special Advisor to the Cabinet on economic issues in Japan.

The Europakolloquium takes place on February 21, 2019, at 6:15pm, in the seminar room of the Institute for European Global Studies (Gellertstrasse 27, Basel).
