Christa Tobler Co-Authors New Publication on EU Law
Christa Tobler and Thomas Cottier have published an article titled “Being European, outside the EU: EFTA, EEA and UK” in Common Market Law Review, volume 63 (2026), a leading EU law journal. They argue that countries outside the EU share common values that should lead to closer cooperation in the current geopolitical situation. The article appears in the special issue “Silence is not an option: The EU in deeply troubled times.”
Christa Tobler is Professor of European Law at the Institute for European Global Studies. Her research interests include the legal relations between Switzerland and the European Union as well as issues of equality before the law and discriminations.
