Cooperation Talks with Andrew Glencross (ESPOL Lille)

Andrew Glencross, Deputy Director for International Affairs of the European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL) in Lille, visited the Institute for European Global Studies on 7 April 2022 to discuss options to strengthen the two institutions’ areas of cooperation. Student mobility was among the central topics of the talks.

Two students from the University of Basel are currently already on exchange in Lille. In April, Andrew Glencross and the representatives of the Institute for European Global Studies talked about options ot further improve student mobility among the two institutions and to establish exchange programs for PhD candidates.

The European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL) in Lille was established in 2012. Its interdisciplinary curriculum seeks to train students for careers in politics or international relations. The School's MA programs include “International and Security Politics,” “Global and European Politics,” and “Food Politics and Sustainable Development.” ESPOL’s cooperation with the Institute for European Global Studies was established in 2021.

Andrew Glencross is Deputy Director for International Affairs at ESPOL and Associate Professor of Political Science.
