The Power of Language: Ralph Weber at Conference in Prague
"The Politics of Naming Reality: From Confucius to Xi Jinping" was the title of a recent conference contribution by Prof. Dr. Ralph Weber. Weber participated in the international symposium "Power of Language: Correcting Names in Chinese Thought and Society Past and Present". The event was organized by the Chiang Ching-kuo International Sinological Centre at Charles University in Prague on November 18-19, 2022.
Prof. Dr. Ralph Weber is Associate Professor of European Global Studies at the Institute for European Global Studies. He specializes in Political Theory, Chinese Politics, and modern Confucianism. Currently, he is the President of the European Association for Chinese Philosophy and the Chair of the Section on Political Theory in the Swiss Political Science Association.
