The relationship between Europe, Switzerland and China was the topic of a debate with Ralph Weber at the University of St. Gallen. At the event titled "Ask Your Profs: How Should We Engage With China?", Weber discussed the consequences of China's rise for Switzerland and Europe. The event also featured Prof. Dr. Christoph Frei (University of St. Gallen). It was organised by the Master's Programme in International Affairs and Governance (MIA) at the University of St. Gallen and took place on March 10, 2022.

Ralph Weber is Associate Professor of European Global Studies at the Institute for European Global Studies. He specializes in Political Theory, Chinese Politics, and modern Confucianism. Currently, he is the President of the European Association for Chinese Philosophy and the Chair of the Section on Political Theory in the Swiss Political Science Association.
