Ralph Weber Speaks at Conferences on Chinese Philosophy

Prof. Dr. Ralph Weber has held talks at the International Conference of the Centre for East Asian and Comparative Philosophy (CEACOP, City University of Hong Kong) and the Virtual Symposium "Conversations on Chinese Philosophy" (Centre for East Asian Studies, University of Naples "L'Orientale"). Both events took place on March 26, 2021.

During the CEACOP Conference, Weber addressed the topic "A Shi (士) Conception of Representation: Authority beyond Equality and Hierarchy". At the Symposium organised by the University of Naples, Weber outlined "An Interdisciplinary Approach to Chinese Philosophy".

Ralph Weber is Associate Professor of European Global Studies at the Institute for European Global Studies. He specializes in Political Theory, Chinese Politics, and modern Confucianism. Currently, he is the President of the European Association for Chinese Philosophy and the Chair of the Section on Political Theory in the Swiss Political Science Association.
