Ralph Weber in "The Millenial Source": The Dilemma for Companies Operating in China
Companies that operate in China are increasingly caught up in great power politics, explains Ralph Weber in a recent interview. As concerns over human rights violations in Xinjiang grow, so do pressures to pull out of the region. Taking this step, however, risks a backlash from Chinese consumers. Ralph Weber is Associate Professor of European Global Studies at the Institute for European Global Studies. He specializes in Political Theory, Chinese Politics, and modern Confucianism. Currently, he is the President of the European Association for Chinese Philosophy and the Chair of the Section on Political Theory in the Swiss Political Science Association.
