Katekisama Program 2020-2021
The Katekisama program is a new model of academic collaboration between the Universities of Basel (Switzerland), Bonn (Germany) and Waseda University, Tokyo (Japan). The program offers young scholars and senior researchers an original and dynamic platform of interdisciplinary, cooperative education and research that enables them to critically explore and analyze today’s global realities. The scholars and PhD students benefit from the excellence, experience and global expertise of all three institutions in the social sciences and humanities, and from their new and exclusive forms of academic mobility.
Katekisama Program 2020/21
The Institute for European Global Studies of the University of Basel, the University of Bonn, and Waseda University, Tokyo, continuously expand their network PhD fellows through the association of researchers and project hosting. With the Katekisama fellowship program, the program regularly accepts guest researchers for a research stay at all three institutions. These connections are particularly important for the promotion of young researchers (students, doctoral candidates and postdocs) in order to establish a network of scholarly contacts in the international scientific community.
